Job summary

The City of Liverpool College is seeking a Progress Leader to support students in making progress towards their targets and ambitions. You will advocate for learners and coordinate pastoral support to help them succeed throughout their learning journey.

You will liaise with cross-college teams to promote career aspirations, monitor progress, and facilitate appropriate interventions while maintaining a safe and motivating learning environment.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Excellent IT literacy and ability to use college IT programmes.
• Experience with Tutorial Provision or Personal Development.
• Experience of working with vulnerable young people.
• Knowledge of post-16 qualifications.
• Level 2 literacy and numeracy or willingness to complete.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the College's Strategic Plan and ensure its effective implementation.
• Collaborate with curriculum teams to plan transitions for learners.
• Deliver the Preparation for Learning induction with curriculum support.
• Ensure correct programme enrolment through progress reviews and transfers.
• Plan high quality Personal Development sessions to engage students.
