Job summary

JD.com is seeking a seasoned logistics process improvement professional to drive cost optimization, standardize in-station operations, and create SOPs. You will partner with tech teams to define system requirements and deliver measurable improvements across delivery stations.

The role requires 5+ years in logistics, fluency in English, German preferred, and the ability to lead training initiatives and build performance reports in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; 5+ years in the logistics and delivery/distribution industry.
• Retail/e-commerce background preferred.
• Experience in process optimization and creation of SOPs.
• Six Sigma experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive cost optimization, efficiency improvements, and process streamlining through data analysis.
• Standardize in-station processes such as receiving, sortation, route planning and loading.
• Create SOPs, workflows and work instructions.
• Define system requirements and cooperate with tech teams for system functionalities and design.
• Create reports measuring performance and quality.
• Create training material and train the trainer sessions.
• Lead root cause analysis to resolve performance gaps in relevant In Station KPIs.
• Collaborate with stations' teams to capture challenges and promote process changes.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement by training frontline leaders on lean principles.
• Create and implement routines and mechanisms to drive improvement in the delivery stations.
