Job summary

McLaren Automotive is seeking an Industrial Engineer and Headcount Planning Lead to drive world-class operational strategies at the MPC, coordinating with planning, manufacturing, engineering, finance and supply chain.

You will implement continuous improvement initiatives, optimize processes and leverage advanced manufacturing technologies to sustain performance leadership in automotive production.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management or suitable industry experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing / production launch environment.
• Experience with low volume high-cost product manufacturing is desirable.
• Knowledge of SAP PP/ ME would be a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitors hours per car across manufacturing processes and drives improvement initiatives.
• Reports headcount allocation across all manufacturing lines and identifies efficiency opportunities.
• Investigates and introduces technology to support production modelling and scenario planning.
• Leads cross-functional collaboration to drive continuous improvement and world-class manufacturing.
• Manages projects from planning to delivery, including budgets and stakeholder communication.
