McLaren Automotive Ltd. seeks a highly experienced Production Steering Manager to lead and implement world‑class operational strategies in our MPC manufacturing environment.

You will drive continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and efficiency, coordinating with planning, manufacturing, finance and supply chain to optimize from Product Definition to Series Production. You’ll monitor production metrics, lead technology adoption for modelling and planning, and guide next‑gen manufacturing and

Qualifications

• A Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management or suitable industry experience.
• Minimum of 10yrs in manufacturing / production launch environment.
• Experience with low volume high-cost product manufacturing.
• Knowledge of SAP PP/ ME would be a distinct advantage.
• Leading and managing cross-functional teams in manufacturing.
• Strong technical knowledge to align with company goals.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive improvements.
• Monitoring production data and implementing corrective actions.
• Experience with programme/governance and leadership under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Monitor hours per car across manufacturing processes and drive improvements.
• Report headcount allocation across all manufacturing lines and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Investigate and introduce technology to support production modelling and scenario planning.
• Lead options for next generation Manufacturing and Quality execution systems.
• Engage stakeholders to drive World Class manufacturing initiatives.
• Lead projects with planning, execution, budgets and milestone delivery.
