Job summary

Police Scotland is seeking an HR Programme Tutor to join our Leadership, Talent & Performance department. You will design, develop and deliver leadership, development and talent interventions linked to the Police Leadership Development Programme to meet staff needs and organisational goals.

You will provide student support and supervision, manage groups with regular 1:1 tutorials, and design assessment strategies aligned to outcomes. There are strong opportunities for cross-sector collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering leadership, development and talent programmes.
• Ability to provide effective student support and supervision to staff on recognised qualifications.
• Strong 1:1 tutorial mentoring and group management skills.
• Experience designing assessment strategies aligned to programme outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver inputs using delivery skills on Leadership, Development and Talent programmes.
• Provide student support and supervision to staff on the Police Scotland promotion qualification.
• Manage a group of students; provide regular 1:1 tutorial support.
• Design and implement assessments aligned with programme outcomes and organisational needs.
• Work with partners across justice and public sector to build relationships.
• Recommend action after audits or inspections and report compliance updates on time.
