Job summary

Associated Wellbeing is seeking an experienced Team Leader for its Pathway Homes Supported Accommodation service in Lancashire. You will lead staff, manage day-to-day operations and on-call responsibilities while ensuring high standards of safeguarding and housing support for young people aged 16–24.

You will supervise, develop staff, review risk assessments, and coordinate referrals, planning and transition work.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year's leadership or supervisory experience in a relevant setting.
• Relevant Level 3 or Level 4 qualification or equivalent (Health & Social Care, Youth Work, Housing, Children & Young People’s Services, Community Support, or Leadership & Management).
• Experience supporting young people, young adults, or vulnerable people.
• Knowledge of Supported Accommodation and its regulatory framework.
• Strong safeguarding and risk-management knowledge.
• Ability to work proactively without micromanagement.
• Good IT skills and experience with care/hostel management systems.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel between services.
• Flexibility to undertake sleep-ins and participate in shared on-call.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and support to staff.
• Complete supervisions, reflective practice and staff development.
• Support rotas, planning and shared on-call.
• Review risk assessments, support plans and safeguarding concerns.
• Support referrals, assessments, matching and transitions.
• Support pathway planning and preparation for adulthood.
• Complete audits and quality-assurance activity.
• Support HR processes, policies, procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with Social Workers, Personal Advisers and other professionals.
• Support young people with housing, benefits, education and move-on planning.
• Provide direct support to young people where required.
• Take ownership of actions and see them through to completion.
• Oversee property compliance and accommodation standards (health & safety, fire safety, checks, maintenance).
• Ensure homes remain safe, suitable and well maintained.
