Job summary

Life Change Care is seeking a full-time Team Leader for a residential children’s home in Lancashire. You will lead a dedicated team, supervise staff, and provide key support to young people aged 10–17 within a therapeutic environment.

The role requires passion for working with children and the ability to manage day-to-day needs, activities, and milestones. You will report to the Registered and Deputy Manager and contribute to safeguarding, supervision, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 diploma in residential childcare.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a residential childcare setting.
• Full UK driving licence (desirable).
• Must be over 21 to apply for this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the home team to provide a supportive and nurturing environment for young people.
• Co-ordinate care, participate in key-working with young people and staff, and support the Registered and Deputy Manager.
