Inicio Group Ltd in Leigh is seeking a Service Manager to lead the supported accommodation service, ensuring a safe, nurturing home for young people and high-quality care. You will supervise a dedicated team, implement care and safety plans, and work with senior management to meet regulatory standards.

Applicants should hold a Diploma Level 3/4 in Children, Young People and Families, and ideally Level 5 management qualifications or willingness to pursue them.

Qualifications

• Diploma Level 3/4 in Children, Young People and Families practitioner is required.
• Willingness to work towards Level 5 in Children, Young People and Families Manager.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in children's social care or supported accommodation.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, regulations, and best practices in supported accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of homes with a safe, caring environment.
• Lead and supervise the support team, delivering supervision and appraisals.
• Develop and implement support and safety plans for each young person.
• Conduct progress reviews with families and external agencies.
• Promote an inclusive, empowering home environment and stakeholder collaboration.
• Plan team meetings and ensure accurate records and regulatory compliance.
• Handle crises promptly and uphold safeguarding procedures.
• Lead policy implementation and quality assurance.
• Encourage young people’s participation in decision-making.
