West Ham United FC is seeking a Lead YDP Performance Analyst to drive analysis for U13–U16 players at Chadwell Heath & Little Heath Training Grounds. You will lead video capture, data management and insightful pre/post-match analysis in line with the Academy Playbook.

You will mentor junior analysts, deliver IDP-focused feedback and help shape individual development plans, while aligning with safeguarding and performance standards across the academy.

Competenze

• BSc in Sports Science, Performance Analysis or a related discipline.
• Experience in performance analysis within football environments, preferably academies or professional settings.
• Knowledge of analysis platforms such as Hudl, Catapult Focus, Impect, Opta or other providers.
• Ability to travel and commit to regular weekend work.

Mansioni

• Lead the filming, capture, storage and management of YDP training and match footage and performance data.
• Deliver high-quality pre- and post-match analysis using video and statistical insights aligned with the Academy Playbook.
• Provide individualized analysis and feedback to players, including IDP-related clips, statistics and insights.
• Lead and oversee the consistency, quality and effectiveness of YDP analysis provision.
• Identify performance trends, review best practice and provide longer-term insights for development.
• Support, guide and develop student and junior analysts where required.
• Contribute to the wider Academy Performance Analysis department and share knowledge across the programme.
