Job summary

Blackburn Rovers FC is seeking a dedicated Performance Analyst to lead analysis for the Youth Development Programme (U13–U16). You will deliver high-quality video and data analysis to support player development, coaching, and interdisciplinary collaboration within the academy.

You will work with coaches and sports science to generate insights, feedback sessions, and Development Action Plans. The role emphasizes safeguarding and accurate data handling across platforms like Hudl and SportsCode.

Qualifications

• Degree in Sports Science, Coaching or Performance Analysis.
• UEFA C Licence or working towards.
• MSc in Performance Analysis desirable.
• UEFA B Licence desirable.
• DBS enhanced check required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver pre-match, in-match and post-match analysis for U13–U16 teams.
• Capture, code and upload match and training footage to Hudl and similar platforms.
• Provide individual and team feedback through video sessions and data insights.
• Support coaches in creating Development Action Plans for players.
