Job summary

Blackburn Rovers are seeking a Lead Academy Analyst to lead performance analysis for the Youth Development Phase (U13-U16) at Blackburn Rovers Academy. You will provide high-quality video and data analysis to support coaches and player development, while maintaining performance databases and ensuring EPPP compliance.

The role involves supervising Academy Performance Analyst Interns, working with coaching staff and sports science, and contributing to multi-disciplinary meetings.

Qualifications

• Strong video and data analysis skills using specialized software.
• Relevant degree in sports science or related field and UEFA coaching licence.
• Understanding of football tactics and development for youth players (U13-U16).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
• Desirable MSc in Performance Analysis and UEFA B Licence.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver pre-, in-, and post-match analysis for U13-U16 teams.
• Capture, code and upload match/training footage to Hudl/related platforms.
• Provide feedback through video sessions and data insights for Player Development Plans.
