Job summary

GXO is recruiting for a Shift Operations Manager (Rotating Days) to join our Stafford team. You will lead and coach a Warehouse team, drive engagement and culture while ensuring safe, compliant operations across rotating shifts 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00.

The role requires proven shift operations management experience in a high-volume environment, plus strong budgeting, project and change management skills. You will collaborate with Stock, Systems, HR and Finance to meet KPIs and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Proven shift operations management experience in a high-volume service operation.
• Strong budgetary experience including formulation and analysis.
• Proven project and change management with quantifiable results.
• Excellent team-building, leadership and motivational skills.
• Knowledge of interaction with Stock, Systems, HR and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the site works within health and safety and legislative requirements.
• Be proactive in seeking improvements in processes and methods.
• Lead day-to-day management and development of Warehouse Lead Team Managers and teams.
• Achieve KPIs and deliver on-time, on-cost, customer service.
• Maintain excellent relationships with Customer representatives and align with their business needs.
