Job summary

Whistl is recruiting at the Wellingborough Depot for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team and coordinate daily operations, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and safety. You will manage resource allocation, oversee loading/unloading, and ensure SLAs are met in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The role requires hands-on leadership, the ability to deputise for the shift manager, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience as Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader in logistics.
• Proven ability to manage teams in fast-paced warehouses.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate loading and unloading to meet SLAs.
• Brief and debrief team daily; manage attendance and performance.
• Deputise for shift manager during absences.
• Train team members during induction.
• Ensure compliance with Safety, Health and Environment regulations.
• Develop a strong team culture and liaise with the depot management.
