Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Head Waiter to lead the dining floor, ensuring outstanding service for members and guests. You will oversee service with the Restaurant Manager and Front of House team, guiding staff and upholding the club’s high standards.

You will warmly greet guests, take orders, make wine recommendations, and coordinate with kitchen and bar to deliver seamless experiences. The role requires leadership, superb communication, and a polished, professional manner.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in a similar high-end dining environment, with supervisory experience.
• Excellent food and beverage knowledge, including wine service.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a hands-on approach.
• Confident, polished, and professional demeanour.
• Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems and reservation software.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet members, seat guests, and engage from seating.
• Take accurate food and drink orders; note allergies.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar for timely delivery.
• Provide menu recommendations including wine pairings.
• Maintain pristine table service and attentive beverage service.
• Lead and supervise daily service on the restaurant floor.
• Support and coach waitstaff with feedback.
