Job summary

Saab UK in Fareham is seeking an Integration Team Lead to oversee the assembly, integration and testing of remotely operated vehicles and supporting equipment. You will manage a production-focused team, ensure project delivery on time and to the highest quality, and align with configuration documents.

Responsibilities include leading fault find, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining safety and 6S standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Team Leadership experience is essential.
• Ability to lead a fast paced production area and ensure deadlines are met.
• Strong communication skills.
• A minimum HNC/HND qualification preferably in Electronics.
• Good knowledge in the use of fibre optic termination, equipment and testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Integration Team in the assembly, testing and commissioning of underwater robotics and supporting equipment.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and in-line with delivery schedules while maintaining highest quality.
• Provide offsite/offshore commissioning and customer support as required by the company or customer.
• Interpret designs, engineering information and electrical drawings to assemble and test working assemblies and prototypes.
• Comply with 6S best practice and health and safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
