Sleek in the UK seeks an experienced senior accounting professional to own a UK-focused portfolio of SME clients, ensuring timely and accurate filing of year-end accounts, corporation tax returns, VAT, and confirmations.

You will review and coach a remote team, explain numbers plainly to business owners, and collaborate with Product, Tech, Sales and Support to improve processes and leverage AI tools.

Qualificações

• ACCA/ICAEW/ICAS membership is required
• 5+ years in UK accounting practice with 2 portfolios of 150+ SME clients
• Expert knowledge of UK statutory accounts (FRS 102/105) for private limited companies
• Strong knowledge of corporation tax and VAT for private limited companies
• Experience preparing management accounts and explaining them to business owners
• Experience reviewing and managing a remote/offshore team
• UK right to work; visa sponsorship not available

Responsabilidades

• Run your portfolio end to end: year end accounts, corporation tax returns, VAT returns and confirmation statements
• Review and sign off your team’s work, coaching for first-time accuracy
• Prepare management accounts and explain their meaning to clients
• Proactively chase deadlines when risk of delay arises
• Maintain accurate client records and workflow data
• Collaborate with Product, Tech, Sales and Support to resolve issues
• Utilize AI tools within products and workflows and help shape them
