DaySmart Software, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant based in the UK to drive monthly closes, financial reporting, and collaborative cross-functional work with our US team. The role offers flexibility with remote, in-person, or hybrid options, with a London office available for in-person days.

You will manage general ledger, reconcile accounts, analyze variances, and support audits while contributing to process improvements in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior accounting role.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes.
• Highly detail-oriented, with a passion for accuracy and process optimization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally across departments.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite or similar) is a plus.
• CPA certification is a plus, with preference given to candidates who hold or are actively pursuing this credential

Aufgaben

• Manage and perform monthly financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and review financial results, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, resolving discrepancies and ensuring data integrity.
• Provide financial analysis and variance support to management, offering actionable insights for decision-making.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance department.
• Collaborate with internal teams to prepare for audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Thrive in ambiguous situations, making informed decisions with limited information, adapting to changing priorities, and driving progress despite uncertainty
