Job summary

Sleek in the UK is seeking an experienced accounting professional to prepare year end accounts, CT600s and VAT returns for small business clients. You will work in a pod led by a UK-based Senior Accounts Manager, reviewing work of junior accountants and bookkeepers to ensure accuracy before submission.

You’ll coordinate with UK clients, chase missing records, and help evolve AI-enabled workflows. Remote-friendly, with strong growth and learning opportunities within Sleek.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified: CA/CA Intermediate (India), CPA (Philippines) or ACCA.
• At least 4 years in accounting, including UK year end accounts, CT600s and VAT returns for small businesses.
• At least 1 year reviewing other accountants’ or bookkeepers’ work.
• Written English good enough to email UK clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year end accounts (FRS 102/105), CT600s and VAT returns under Making Tax Digital.
• Review accountants’ and bookkeeper’s work and explain corrections so it reaches the manager right first time.
• Chase clients for missing records and flag deadlines to the manager.
• Email UK clients to request information or explain requirements.
• Keep client records and workflow data accurate for visibility.
• Use and shape AI tools within our workflows.
