AtkinsRéalis' Traffic Control Systems (TCS) team is seeking a Senior Traffic Control Systems Engineer in the UK. You will lead high-quality projects across the transport sector, delivering traffic signals and ITS schemes from inception to operation.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of design processes and best practice for traffic signals and highways.
• Experience leading feasibility, preliminary and detailed design activities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with ability to develop innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise delivery of Traffic Signal and ITS schemes from inception to operation (design, FAT, SAT, validation).
• Engage with clients to provide technical advice, develop opportunities and progress delivery.
• Mentor and develop junior staff in technical delivery and project management.
• Prepare and review high-quality technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets, monitor risks, and resolve issues to meet time, cost and quality targets.
