Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking a Test Equipment Design Authority to assure and certify test systems used to diagnose faults and restore service to fast-jet radar systems. You will work with IPTs to ensure safety, security, compliance, and full certification of equipment.

This role suits a Test Engineer with experience in complex electronic test solutions (optical, RF, digital, analogue) and a track record in full lifecycle development.

Qualifications

• Experience with verification, design changes and obsolescence management.
• Understanding of test equipment implementation across multi-partner teams.
• Knowledge of safety, compliance and product security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support verification activities and design changes.
• Maintain documentation and configuration management artifacts.
• Collaborate with IPTs to communicate progress and risks.
• Produce reports and ensure alignment with Leonardo policies.
• Participate in design reviews and life-cycle activities.
