Job summary

Leonardo Worldwide Corporation is looking for a Lead Safety Engineer to join the Design Integrity function. This hybrid role involves ensuring robust safety governance in radar and countermeasure systems.

The ideal candidate must have experience with safety tools in Electronics or Avionics and hold a relevant degree. The salary ranges from £60,000 to £80,000, with additional benefits to support career growth and well-being.

Qualifications

• Experience applying safety tools in Electronics or Avionics disciplines.
• Experience in Integration, Test, Evaluation and Acceptance processes for complex systems.
• Experience achieving Product Safety certification in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project safety requirements are achieved.
• Define Product Safety and Environmental requirements.
• Participate in test programme planning and execution.

Knowledge of electronics testing standards

Education

2:1 or higher in a relevant engineering or science-based honours degree
