Sulzer Pumps (UK) Ltd. in Leeds is seeking a Test Engineer to own testing programmes for large-scale rotating equipment and pump packages.

You will lead testing activities, analyse performance data and collaborate with Engineering, Projects and Production teams to ensure top-quality results before products go to customers worldwide. The role requires an HNC in Mechanical, Electrical or Plant Engineering and experience in a manufacturing/engineering/testing environment, with strong communication

Formación

• HNC in Mechanical, Electrical or Plant Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, testing or rotating equipment environment.
• Experience carrying out or supervising equipment testing.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple departments.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and supervise allocated test activities through to successful completion.
• Lead and coordinate test teams to deliver projects safely, on time and to specification.
• Evaluate test results and communicate findings to Engineering, Projects and Production teams.
• Investigate technical issues, carry out fault diagnosis and support root cause analysis.
• Support the design and development of test rigs and testing processes.
• Monitor equipment reliability and performance to maximise operational effectiveness.
• Participate in project and assembly review meetings, providing technical expertise and guidance.
