Job summary

Sulzer in Leeds is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex service and overhaul projects across our rotating equipment portfolio. This role focuses on delivering on time, safely and within budget while coordinating engineering, operations and field service teams.

The ideal candidate offers proven project management experience in an industrial setting, strong stakeholder communication, and a qualification such as PRINCE2 or APM.

Qualifications

• Extensive project management experience in engineering, manufacturing, maintenance or industrial services.
• Experience managing customer-facing projects with commercial accountability.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
• Proactive approach to risk management and problem solving.
• Familiarity with rotating equipment (pumps, motors) would be advantageous.
• PM qualification (APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage project delivery from initiation to close-out.
• Act as the main customer contact for key accounts.
• Coordinate internal teams across engineering, operations, procurement and field service.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, risks and resource requirements.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably and in line with customer expectations.
• Provide regular progress updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and manage commercial opportunities and project variations.
• Support outage planning and execution for critical customer sites.
• Build strong relationships to secure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
