Job summary

Sulzer in Leeds is seeking a Test Engineer to own and supervise large-scale testing of rotating equipment and pump packages. You will lead testing activities, analyse performance data, and work with Engineering, Projects and Production to ensure safety, reliability and quality before customer delivery.

The role demands hands-on problem solving, strong communication, and a continuous improvement mindset, with collaboration across multiple departments and an emphasis on safe, on-time project

• Experience supervising equipment testing.

• Managing and supervising allocated test activities through to successful completion.
• Leading and coordinating test teams to deliver projects safely, on time and to specification.
• Evaluating test results and communicating findings to Engineering, Projects and Production teams.
• Investigating technical issues, carrying out fault diagnosis and supporting root cause analysis.
• Supporting the design and development of test rigs and testing processes.
• Monitoring equipment reliability and performance to maximise operational effectiveness.
• Participating in project and assembly review meetings, providing technical expertise and guidance.
