Sulzer Pumps (UK) Ltd. in Leeds is seeking an experienced Final Inspection Lead to join our refurbished, state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility.

You will lead final inspection activities, coordinating with Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality teams to ensure every pump package meets the highest standards before dispatch. You will oversee final assembly verification, review manufacturing records, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy engineering and manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of final inspection, QA and documentation control.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience coordinating inspections for large engineered products.

Responsabilités

• Lead final inspection activities for complete pump packages and rotating equipment.
• Coordinate final assembly verification before dispatch to customers.
• Review and approve final manufacturing records and quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and internal quality requirements.
• Verify customer specifications and contractual obligations are fulfilled.
• Sign off on pump packages and bareshaft assemblies.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Project Management and Quality teams to resolve issues and ensure on-time delivery.
• Support customer inspections and witness activities as required.
