Job summary

Partners in Support in Stevenage is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead the staff team and provide day-to-day leadership for person-centred support. You will coach, supervise, and mentor colleagues to ensure high standards of care and a positive workplace culture.

The role requires flexibility across shifts and weekends, with opportunities for development within an Outstanding organisation. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or autism.
• Commitment to empowering people.
• Ability to work closely with families and outside agencies.
• Must have a full UK driving licence.
• Willing to work weekdays, weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day staff support and coaching through supervisions and 1:1 support.
• Ensure high-quality, person-centred support is delivered consistently.
• Create a positive culture where colleagues and people supported thrive.
• Collaborate with Locality Manager to guide staff and cover shifts as needed.
• Participate in regular supervision, performance reviews and ongoing communication.
