Partners in Support in Abbots Langley is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead a small team and deliver day-to-day care for adults with learning disabilities and autism. The role is permanent, full-time, with shift patterns across early, late and night hours.

About the role

Joining us as a Senior Support Worker, you'll work alongside the Locality Manager to provide day-to-day leadership and support to the staff team, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support is delivered consistently.

You’ll lead by example, provide coaching and guidance through supervisions, observations, and 1:1 support, and help create a positive culture where both colleagues and the people we support can thrive.

The shift patterns are (approximately, subject to change): 7.15am to 2.45pm, 2.45 to 10pm, 10pm to 7.15am. We need you to be as flexible as possible to cover these shifts within a small team, all dedicated to one person. If you are employed full-time, you will work 5 shifts over 7 days.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or Autism.
• A commitment to empowering people.
• Ability to work closely with families and outside agencies.
• Ability to take responsibility and remain calm in difficult situations.
• Able to work 08:00 - 20:00 on a rota basis.
• Willing to work weekdays, weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
• Must have a full UK Manual driving license.
