Job summary

CareTech is recruiting for a Senior Support Worker in Reading to lead a team and provide high-quality, person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs.

You will supervise shift teams, ensure care plans are followed, and contribute to community activities while maintaining accurate records and documentation. A Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care progression is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a care environment.
• Passionate about person-centred support.
• Able to work rota-based shifts including on-call.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Support Workers.
• Deliver high-quality, person-centred support aligned with care plans.
• Coordinate activities and community engagement.
• Maintain accurate records and incident reports.
• Participate in Senior On-Call rota.
