Job summary

Partnersinsupport is seeking an On-Call Support Worker based in Stevenage to provide emotional and practical support to adults with learning disabilities and/or autism. You will respond to urgent issues, support colleagues across Hertfordshire, and work from home with on-call shifts.

The role requires a full UK driving licence and flexibility to cover different services. The position is permanent full-time with guaranteed hours and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year's experience providing person-centred support to people with learning disabilities and/or Autism.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Ability to work independently, use initiative, and stay calm under pressure.
• Flexible and able to respond to different services as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and practical support to adults with learning disabilities and autism, helping them live life their way.
• Respond rapidly to urgent issues and support colleagues across Hertfordshire.
• Travel around our services from home-based base and cover on-call shifts as needed.
