Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Lead Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure supplier quality for Blades & Vanes in the Gas Services division. You will lead supplier performance reviews, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives for components involving advanced coating processes such as thermal barrier coatings (TBCs).

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of blade and vane suppliers, lead performance reviews and drive improvement plans based on quality metrics and SLAs.
• Lead supplier development programs to enhance supplier quality systems and manufacturing capabilities, focusing on advanced coating processes.
• Act as the primary quality interface for key suppliers, negotiating quality requirements and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
• Plan and lead complex supplier audits to ensure ISO 9001 compliance, with emphasis on coating and surface treatment processes.
• Lead complex root cause analyses for significant supplier-related quality issues, including coating defects and manufacturing anomalies.
