Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Lead Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure supplier quality for Blades & Vanes in the Gas Services division. You will lead supplier performance reviews, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives for components involving advanced coating processes such as thermal barrier coatings (TBCs).

Lead supplier development programs to enhance supplier quality systems and manufacturing capabilities, focusing on advanced coating processes.
Act as the primary quality interface for key suppliers, negotiating quality requirements and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
Plan and lead complex supplier audits to ensure ISO 9001 compliance, with emphasis on coating and surface treatment processes.
Lead complex root cause analyses for significant supplier-related quality issues, including coating defects and manufacturing anomalies.

You will engage with suppliers specializing in advanced coating processes, such as thermal barrier coatings (TBCs), to ensure their components are of the utmost quality. Imagine leading supplier performance reviews, conducting rigorous audits, and resolving complex quality issues, all while driving continuous improvement initiatives. How You’ll Make An Impact

You will manage a portfolio of suppliers for blades and vanes, leading performance reviews and driving improvement plans based on quality metrics and SLAs.
Lead supplier development programs to enhance their quality systems and manufacturing capabilities, focusing on advanced coating processes.
Act as the primary quality interface for key suppliers, negotiating quality requirements for critical components and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
Plan and lead complex supplier audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, with special attention to coating and surface treatment processes.
You will lead complex root cause analysis investigations for significant supplier-related quality issues, particularly those involving coating defects and manufacturing anomalies.

What You Bring

You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials Science, or a related technical engineering field.
You are a recognized subject matter expert with extensive experience in a supplier quality engineering role, particularly in precision components and special processes.
Possess certifications such as Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the energy, aerospace, or automotive sectors.
Strong technical and analytical abilities, including knowledge of advanced coating processes and risk analysis skills.
