Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with deep casting expertise to join the Supplier Quality team. You will act as the subject matter expert for casting technologies, supporting PPQ leads, leading root cause analyses, and standardizing supplier quality processes across gas turbine units.

Your role drives knowledge sharing and continuous improvement with key suppliers. You will hold a engineering degree with a strong track record in casting processes and supplier quality, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Materials, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Significant professional experience in manufacturing engineering or supplier quality with a focus on casting.
• Strong project management and ability to influence without extensive oversight.
• Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving capabilities; continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary SME for casting technologies and provide technical support to Supplier Quality PPQ Leads.
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of casting-related technical and quality problems.
• Develop and implement standardized PPQ validation benchmarks across gas turbine business units.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with key casting suppliers to improve stability and quality.
• Coordinate knowledge development to uplift Casting expertise within Supplier Quality.
