Job summary

Siemens Healthineers Magnet Technology in Oxfordshire is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to influence quality across the supply chain and manufacturing operations. You will lead investigations, support corrective actions, and identify opportunities to strengthen quality performance.

You will work with Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Manufacturing to resolve challenges and drive improvements, using structured reviews, data analysis, and established quality methods.

Qualifications

• Experience in investigating root causes and implementing effective corrective actions.
• Experience working with suppliers and resolving supplier quality concerns.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 principles and quality management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate evidence into action.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manufacturing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build constructive relationships with suppliers and drive quality improvements through reviews and improvement plans.
• Manage supplier non-conformances and coordinate corrective actions.
• Review containment, root-cause analysis and CAPA plans to address root issues.
• Support supplier qualification, monitoring, and change-management activities.
• Provide day-to-day quality support to manufacturing and shop-floor colleagues.
• Lead containment and root-cause investigations using 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa methods.
• Contribute to supplier audits and internal compliance assessments.
• Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions from audits and investigations.
