Job summary

The University of Lancashire is seeking a dynamic Student Casework Operations Lead to steer policies and procedures across Student Complaints, Disciplinaries, Fitness to Practice, Academic Misconduct and Appeals.

You will provide expert guidance to senior colleagues and Investigating Officers, promoting learning from case findings to enhance the student experience, and report to the Director of Student Casework and Placement Learning.

Qualifications

• Experience of leadership and management in higher education and a commitment to continual improvement are essential.
• Candidates should have a track record in managing successful teams and developing a positive and inclusive culture.
• An undergraduate degree or equivalent experiential learning is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Student Casework function and provide direction and leadership.
• Lead development, promotion and implementation of policies relating to Student Complaints, Disciplinaries, Fitness to Practice, Academic Misconduct and Appeals.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to senior colleagues and Investigating Officers across the University.
• Promote a culture of learning from case findings and outcomes to enhance the student experience.
