Job summary

University of Lancashire is seeking a proactive leader to head the Student Casework Operations within the Academic Registry. You will drive policy development across complaints, disciplinary, fitness to practise, and academic misconduct, while guiding investigations and senior stakeholders.

You will lead a team, shape procedures, and promote learning from case outcomes to improve the student experience across the university.

Qualifications

• Experience of leadership and management in higher education.
• Experience drafting policies and procedures.
• Track record of managing successful teams.
• Ability to foster an inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, promotion and implementation of policies and procedures relating to Student Complaints, Student Disciplinaries, Fitness to Practice, Academic Misconduct and Appeals.
• Provide leadership of the student casework function and expert guidance to senior colleagues and Investigating Officers.
• Promote a culture of learning from case findings and outcomes to enhance the student experience.
• Report to the Director of Student Casework and Placement Learning and collaborate with professional services managers and academic leaders.
