Job summary

BRE Ltd in Watford seeks a Lead Structural Engineer to provide technical leadership within the Structural Technology team, directing testing, assessment and consultancy services to support growth and industry impact. You will apply BS EN standards and advanced structural mechanics, mentor staff, lead multi-disciplinary projects, and develop high-quality proposals and reports for clients and regulators.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
Proven capability in leading complex structural engineering activities.
Strong knowledge of BS and EN codes and standards.
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to develop high-quality proposals and reports.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Structural Technology team to deliver objectives and growth.
Provide technical leadership across projects, ensuring quality testing and consultancy.
Drive business development and market growth with new opportunities.
Build relationships with clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
Represent BRE externally at events and conferences.
Mentor team members and ensure safety and compliant practices.
