Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on site reliability engineering concepts.
• Demonstrated hands‑on experience with AWS cloud workloads.
• Proficiency in reliability, scalability, performance and enterprise system architecture.
• Fluency in Python, Java/Spring Boot or .NET.
• Observability, monitoring, SLIs and telemetry in large environments.
• CI/CD practices and tooling proficiency.
• Container technologies and orchestration experience.
• Networking troubleshooting in complex environments.
• Experience evaluating new technologies for resiliency and security.
• Experience using AI capabilities to support SRE workflows with validation and data sensitivity awareness.
• Ability to evaluate AI recommendations for correctness and risk with guardrails.
• Cloud platforms and IaC tooling in enterprise settings.
• Chaos engineering and proactive resiliency testing.
• Community contributions and knowledge sharing.
• Exposure to advanced observability platforms and distributed tracing.

Responsibilities

• Champion site reliability culture and share knowledge across the organization.
• Use data analytics to improve service levels and resolve bottlenecks.
• Collaborate to define service level indicators and objectives with stakeholders.
• Design and implement observability frameworks and alerting strategies.
• Act as primary incident contact to diagnose and resolve issues quickly.
• Share deep technical guidance with peers across the team.
• Drive AI-assisted reliability workflows across the software lifecycle.
• Use enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate major incidents while ensuring data handling compliance.
