Job summary

Provide CIC in Essex (Chelmsford/Colchester) is seeking a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (Band 7) to support children and young people across Essex. Part-time, 22.5 hours per week.

You will lead on service delivery in designated schools, hold a highly specialist clinical caseload in complex needs and AAC, and supervise therapists and assistants within a multidisciplinary SEND Therapies team.

Qualifications

• Specialist knowledge in complex needs and AAC.
• UK clinical registration with HCPC for the role.
• Ability to travel to a variety of sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead on service delivery in designated schools.
• Hold a highly specialist clinical caseload in complex needs and AAC.
• Supervise and line-manage band 5/6 therapists and SLT assistants.
• Contribute to planning and delivery of the Therapies service.
• Collaborate within the Speech and Language Therapy team and SEND Therapies team.
