Job summary

Sencare Recruitment Ltd seeks a Lead Clinician to manage an in-house clinical team at a special needs school in Barton-upon-Humber. The role balances clinical leadership with SLT caseload management, delivering bespoke assessments and interventions for pupils with autism and SEMH needs.

Candidates must hold a Speech and Language Therapy qualification, be HCPC registered, and have experience supervising a therapy team while developing a growing clinical service.

Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
• Registered practitioner with the HCPC.
• Active and up-to-date membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
• Experience with autistic individuals and/or complex needs.
• Clear and concise report writing for clinical and research activities.
• Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team.
• Ability to work independently and within a growing clinical service.

Responsibilities

• Lead the in-house Clinical Team and collaborate with SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.
• Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex needs.
• Coordinate line management of onsite clinical staff and service development.
• Deliver clinical leadership while managing a targeted, multidisciplinary approach.
