Job summary

Academics in West London is seeking a Band 7 Speech & Language Therapist to join our supportive Therapy Team. You will deliver evidence-based interventions for children and young people with complex needs, providing assessment, treatment planning and therapy across communication, feeding and AAC, in a specialist educational setting.

You will collaborate with teachers and the multidisciplinary team to embed therapy into daily learning, participate in CPD, supervision and career progression, and

Qualifications

• HCPC registration and Band 7 SLT experience are essential.
• Experience in assessing, planning and delivering evidence-based interventions.
• Knowledge of AAC, feeding and social communication interventions.
• Excellent multidisciplinary working and communication skills.
• Confident working independently while supporting colleagues and teaching staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, treatment planning and therapy across speech, language, feeding and AAC.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to children and young people with complex needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and the multidisciplinary team to embed therapy into everyday learning.
