Job summary

Taste Hospitality Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Sous Chef for a luxury hotel in Worcestershire. The role offers a chance to lead a talented kitchen brigade in a respected, food-led property.

You will work closely with the Head Chef, delivering high standards while developing the brigade in a hands-on, seasonal kitchen environment. Sponsorship is not available; candidates must have UK right to work.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef in quality fresh-food operation.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a busy kitchen.
• Passion for seasonal ingredients and high standards of food presentation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Lead and motivate the brigade during service.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, taste and presentation.
• Assist with menu development and seasonal specials.
• Train and mentor junior chefs and apprentices.
• Manage stock control and minimise wastage.
• Ensure food hygiene and safety standards are maintained.
