Modelo Lounge in Kemp Town, England, is recruiting a full-time Sous Chef to join the kitchen team. You’ll support the Head Chef, lead the team through services and ensure every dish leaving the pass is something to be proud of.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sous Chef or similar role.
• Demonstrated leadership in a busy kitchen.
• Commitment to high standards and consistency.
• Ability to manage shifts when Head Chef is away.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts from prep through to final plate.
• Support Head Chef and team to deliver strong results.
• Set tone for high standards on the pass.
• Own key routines: prep, par, stock, waste, orders, handovers.
• Coach and develop junior chefs.
