Loungers is hiring a full-time Head Chef to lead the kitchen at Palomo Lounge, a local café bar. You’ll run a hands-on kitchen, recruit and coach your team, and ensure every dish leaves the pass at the highest standard.

With a 48-hour contract (40-hour option available), achievable bonus, overtime and progression opportunities, this role offers real career growth across our expanding UK brand. Loungers supports staff with training and development to help you thrive.

Qualificações

• Experience as Head Chef, Kitchen Manager or senior sous chef.
• Ability to recruit, develop and coach kitchen teams.
• Knowledge of menu specs and kitchen processes; attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Take full ownership of the kitchen at Palomo Lounge, leading every shift.
• Recruit, develop and coach your kitchen team with clear development plans.
• Know menu specs and kitchen processes; ensure every dish leaves the pass correctly.
• Own a site-level action plan with GM covering wait times, standards, ordering and stock counts.
• Deliver on KPIs: quality, wait times, wastage, food safety and GP; report on performance.
• Schedule fair rotas aligned to sales and bookings.
