Job summary

Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery in Carlisle is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic chef to join Café Tullie. You will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, preparing and cooking fresh, high-quality food for visitors and helping us develop the food offer.

Working closely with our Head Chef, you’ll ensure food is prepared and presented consistently, maintain high standards of hygiene and allergen awareness, and be ready to lead the kitchen and deputise on days off.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen and deputise for the Head Chef on their days off or during periods of leave.
• Prepare and cook fresh, high-quality food for visitors and help develop the cafe's food offer.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, allergen awareness, portion control and waste management.
