Job summary

Cheltenham Chase Hotel & Spa is seeking a hands-on Sous Chef to lead by example in a busy hotel kitchen. You will mentor your brigade, ensure dishes meet spec and quality to a high standard, and help manage the kitchen pass with consistency.

We value people management, strong GP knowledge, and a keen eye for detail. Experience in conference, banqueting and events catering would be ideal, with a hotel environment preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie.
• Hotel environment or busy high-volume operation experience.
• Conference, banqueting & events catering experience would be ideal.
• Quality & standards driven with a keen eye for detail.
• People management experience.
• Strong knowledge of GP, stock control, costs and wastage.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, hands-on in the kitchen with your team.
• Ensure quality and delivery of food leaving the pass to spec and to a very high standard.
