Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced in one or more programming language(s).
• Demonstrated experience maintaining public open-source repositories, including triaging external issues and contributions, managing releases, and upholding quality and security.
• Demonstrated experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools with emphasis on correctness, performance and security.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine approaches.
• Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.
• Maintains the public JPMorgan-payments GitHub organization to a continuous zero-findings standard, repo hygiene, licensing, CI, dependency currency, and release quality.
