Job summary

North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust in Hartlepool, Stockton and Darlington area is seeking a Clinical Lead Speech and Language Therapist to lead the Developmental Language Disorder service for children and young people. The role supports partnership with colleagues to deliver assessment, diagnosis and therapy in diverse settings.

You will be HCPC registered, demonstrate leadership, and drive evidence-based practice while collaborating with schools, clinics and families to improve

Qualifications

• HCPC registered with relevant professional qualifications.
• Experience leading a team of therapists in paediatric SLT.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing learning.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in multidisciplinary settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the service for children and young people with developmental language disorder.
• Deliver therapy across schools, community clinics, homes and virtual platforms.
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team with parents, carers and education staff.
• Develop service quality and contribute to ongoing professional development.
