Job summary

Wirral Community Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Lead for the Children’s Community Speech and Language Therapy team. The post focuses on developing the service across Wirral primary schools and supervising colleagues who deliver it.

The role requires HCPC and RCSLT registration, and access to a car. You will lead quality improvement projects, provide second opinions on complex cases, and work closely with the team.

Qualifications

• SLT degree or recognised equivalent.
• Evidence of specialist short courses.

Responsibilities

• Lead service developments across Wirral primary schools.
• Supervise, lead and delegate work to team members, including junior staff.
• Provide second opinions for children with complex speech, language and communication needs.
• Lead quality improvement projects.
• Work closely with all members of the team.
