Job summary

Ribbons and Reeves Limited is seeking a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join a specialist SEN school in London from September. You will work with children and young people with SEND, delivering assessments and targeted interventions within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires HCPC registration, a relevant SLT degree, and experience with autism and other communication needs. You will contribute to EHCP processes and collaborate with teachers, SENCos and external professionals to

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist
• Relevant degree in Speech and Language Therapy
• Experience with children/young people and SEND
• Excellent assessment, intervention and report-writing skills

Responsibilities

• Assess pupils' speech, language, communication and interaction needs
• Develop and deliver individual and group therapy programmes
• Provide advice and strategies to teaching staff
• Contribute to EHCP assessments, reviews and outcomes
• Support pupils with expressive/receptive language and social communication needs
• Work with pupils using AAC, visual communication and other approaches
• Monitor and evaluate pupil progress
• Maintain accurate clinical records and reports
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary SEND team
• Support staff to embed communication strategies throughout the school day
