Job summary

Bee Construction is seeking an experienced freelance Site Manager to oversee a commercial interior fit-out in Uttoxeter. You will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to required quality.

The role requires SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS, RAMS expertise and excellent communication. Start 1st October 2026 for 4–6 weeks, rate £280 per shift, UK right to work.

Qualifications

• SMSTS certificate mandatory.
• First Aid at Work certification required.
• CSCS card essential.
• Proven RAMS knowledge and safety compliance.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors on interior fit-outs.
• Strong site safety and quality control awareness.
• Ability to manage programme, progress and site delivery.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of the site.
• Coordinate subcontractors and trades on site.
• Oversee health and safety on site and RAMS compliance.
• Review RAMS, permits and method statements.
• Conduct toolbox talks and inductions.
• Monitor progress against construction programme.
• Maintain quality standards throughout the project.
• Daily coordination with subcontractors and weekly meetings with PM.
• Report progress and site issues to PM.
• Manage site logistics and deliveries.
• Ensure works are completed safely and to spec.
• Minimise disruption to neighbouring occupants.
• Coordinate interfaces with existing spaces.
